About Me
I am thrilled to be an educator in Vista Unified. My educational journey began at San Francisco State University where I obtained my Bachelors in Childhood & Adolescent Development. While completing my teaching credential at Cal State San Marcos, I was able to further develop my philosophy of education based on the whole child. I strive to make the classroom a community where children feel safe to take risks and meet their full potential in all developmental domains. My goal is to help students become the best they can be, develop life-long learners and responsible global citizens. My passion in the classroom matches my desire and commitment to help spread High-Quality PBL and Deeper Learning practices across public schools. Outside of teaching I love the outdoors, traveling, watching and playing sports, reading and relaxing over good food and conversation with friends. "I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it." - Vincent Van Gogh |
